No matter where the documents are located, the Buyer will most likely require you to register on their procurement portal to download the documents.
Tender documents are located on the council/company own website, in-house procurement portal or a Buyer branded portal hosted by another company, e.g. Vendorpanel.
Registrations to these portals are usually free of charge, and it is just how the council/company manages their tender process. Registration enables:
- Enables the Buyer to notify you directly of documents, addendum, site inspections/meetings.
- Participate in Q&A forums
- Submit your tender response
Documents are generally free to download, but if there is a fee, this has been requested by the Buyer.
Suppose the portal is hosted by another company like Tenderlink, Vendorpanel or Tenders.net; you DO NOT need a subscription to their service to register on the Buyer's portal. If you are having trouble registering on one of these portals, please get in touch with us, and we will be happy to walk you through the process.
