When a fire ripped through the Parramatta Park Cafe & Restaurant on Boxing Day night in 2016, hundreds lost their daily coffee spot with views over the Parramatta River.
The Parramatta Park Trust is now inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced café and restaurant operators interested in participating in the leasing of the Parramatta Park Cafe & Restaurant.
The Trust is seeking proposals from parties interested in maximising the potential from this opportunity, through participating in the leasing of the reinstated premises for a term of up to 10 years.
The Trust is planning to fund and undertake a reinstatement of the base building. The successful tender respondent will be responsible for the cost of any additional building works, including kitchen facilities and other items of lessee fit out.
There will be an opportunity to provide input into the final design and subject to development consent, proposals involving a larger building footprint may be considered.
Those interested can view the tender notice for free as a Featured Tender at Australian Tenders. The application closing date for expressions of interest is 20 October 2017.
Other Hospitality and Tourism tenders are also available for subscibers to see on Australian Tenders.
Parramatta Park comprises over 86 hectares of public open space, on the eastern fringe of the Parramatta CBD. Over two million people visit the park each year for festivals, cycling, walks and gardens with wildlife.
